“Transforming a Company is quite difficult”

In a WSJ-interview (http://blogs.wsj.com/cfo/2014/04/04/xerox-cfo-an-atmosphere-for-transformation/), Xerox-CFO Kathryn Mikells states that “transforming a company is quite difficult”. Hence, she asked many questions before she took the post last year. One question was, how accepting the organisation might be of people from the outside. And, the answer she received was interesting and actually quite remarkable, to my mind: “Hey we’re going to be as accepting to you as you bring value to us and the company.” What a great attitude.
